Safety can make you more productive

It’s often assumed that safer operations are less productive.

However, a recent Aberdeen Group report clearly indicates that manufacturers can have both safe and productive operations, showing that best-in-class manufacturers average significantly fewer injuries per 100 employees (0.05 vs. 0.9) and repeat accidents (.2% vs. 2.4%) than industry averages while achieving 5% higher OEE and 4% less unscheduled downtime.

They achieve these results by establishing a safety culture, developing formalized risk management processes, and investing in technologies that improve safety automation system integration.

Rockwell Automation has a well-established reputation for helping manufacturers improve productivity. We’re also the world’s largest safety system provider. By understanding global safety standards and practices as well as manufacturing applications, you can achieve both operational excellence and a safe working environment.
